Job Description

Software Engineering Excellence is seeking an ambitious Software Engineer to manage systems, maintenance and application support on a various software platforms. Provide expertise, tools, and assistance to operations, development, and support teams for critical production issues and maintenance. Troubleshoot production issues, diagnose the problem, and implement a solution - First line of defense in finding the root cause. Work cross-functionally with the support team, development team and business team to efficiently address customer issues. Active member of high-performance software development and support team in an agile environment. Support, maintain and participate in the development of state-of-the-art software technology platforms utilizing Microsoft, Linux, Cloud and Web technologies for Cigna Health Services / EverNorth Technology.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working within security, preferably some pen testing

  • Experience with web technologies including: Spring, MVC, Ajax, LINUX and JavaScript

  • Experience with Docker Containers, Ansible, Helm, or other technologies

  • 6 months of working in a professional setting
