  1. Manage and report on Cigna's investment portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
  2. Conduct detailed analysis of investment transactions and portfolio performance to support decision making.
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for various stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
  4. Monitor and reconcile investment accounts, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  5. Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations related to investments, and ensure compliance in all processes and reporting.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment managers, to gather and analyze data for financial reporting and forecasting.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of investment accounting and reporting.
  8. Participate in the annual audit process, providing support and documentation as needed.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in investment accounting processes and procedures.
  10. Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests related to investment accounting and reporting, as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Investment Accounting, Preferably With A Focus On Securities.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Sec Regulations Related To Investment Accounting.

  • Experience With Investment Accounting Software, Such As Bloomberg Aim Or Blackrock Aladdin.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Accounting Issues Related To Securities Investments.
