  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive workforce planning strategy for the back office operations of Cigna, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the back office workforce planning team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  3. Analyze data and trends to identify potential gaps and opportunities for improvement in workforce planning processes, and make recommendations for action.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and operations, to develop and implement workforce planning initiatives and projects.
  5. Utilize workforce management systems and tools to forecast and track staffing needs, ensuring appropriate levels of staffing to meet business demands.
  6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce planning, and take proactive measures to address any issues or deviations from targets.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors for workforce planning support, as needed.
  8. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in workforce planning, and make recommendations for process improvements and enhancements.
  9. Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status and effectiveness of back office workforce planning initiatives.
  10. Mentor, coach, and train team members to build a high-performing workforce planning team.
  11. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the back office workforce planning function.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to workforce planning.
  13. Manage the budget for the back office workforce planning function, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  14. Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Workforce Planning, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Workforce Management Concepts And Tools, Such As Forecasting, Scheduling, And Capacity Planning.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large And Complex Workforces, Including Remote And Virtual Teams.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Workforce Plans That Align With Business Objectives And Drive Efficiency And Productivity.
