  • Develop and implement a comprehensive policy communication strategy to effectively convey Cigna's stance on healthcare policy issues to key stakeholders and audiences
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all policy-related communication inquiries and requests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft messaging and talking points that align with Cigna's policy positions and business goals
  • Monitor and analyze healthcare policy trends and developments to inform and adjust communication strategies as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups to ensure effective dissemination of Cigna's policy messaging
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and materials to effectively communicate Cigna's policy positions and influence decision-makers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare policy issues, providing guidance and support to internal teams and leaders
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant industry news and policy changes to provide timely and accurate information to the organization
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments, including public affairs, government affairs, and marketing, to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging on policy issues
  • Represent Cigna at events and conferences to promote and advocate for the company's policy positions and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Policy Communications Or Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Policy And Regulatory Landscape.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To Various Stakeholders.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Executing Strategic Communication Plans And Campaigns For Policy Initiatives.
