  2. Utilize clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care for members.
  4. Conduct thorough assessments of members' health status and needs.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Educate members and their families about their health conditions and treatment options.
  7. Advocate for members' needs and rights, ensuring they receive appropriate and timely care.
  8. Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to coordinate services and obtain necessary authorizations.
  9. Utilize evidence-based practices and resources to improve health outcomes for members.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions and interventions.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the delivery of care.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay informed about current healthcare practices and policies.
  13. Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support and resources for members.
  14. Act as a liaison between members, their families, and healthcare providers.
  15. Serve as an advocate for Cigna's mission and values, striving to improve the overall health and well-being of our members.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Registered Nursing License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Is Typically Required For A Complex Nurse Case Manager Position At Cigna.

  • Case Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Case Management, Preferably In A Complex Care Setting.

  • Strong Clinical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Clinical Background And Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Medical Records, Lab Results, And Other Relevant Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Complex Nurse Case Manager, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers, So Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
