- Oversee and manage a team of clinical registered nurses, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
- Ensure that all nurses are upholding Cigna's standards of excellence in patient care and adhering to all quality measures and standards
- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve clinical operations and healthcare outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing team, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in quality clinical nursing, incorporating them into daily operations and processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Serve as a resource and expert in clinical nursing, providing guidance and support to the team and other departments as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with data collection and analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to quality of care
- Conduct regular trainings and educational sessions for the nursing team to promote continuous learning and development.
Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field, Master's Degree Preferred
Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Processes And Tools, Such As Six Sigma Or Lean
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including Experience In Managing A Team Of Nurses
