  • Oversee and manage a team of clinical registered nurses, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Ensure that all nurses are upholding Cigna's standards of excellence in patient care and adhering to all quality measures and standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve clinical operations and healthcare outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing team, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in quality clinical nursing, incorporating them into daily operations and processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Serve as a resource and expert in clinical nursing, providing guidance and support to the team and other departments as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with data collection and analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to quality of care
  • Conduct regular trainings and educational sessions for the nursing team to promote continuous learning and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field, Master's Degree Preferred

  • Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Processes And Tools, Such As Six Sigma Or Lean
