Job Description

As a Provider Liaison, you will play a critical role in ensuring our members receive quality healthcare services by fostering partnerships with our network of providers.   1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers within assigned network.
  2. Educate providers on Cigna's policies, procedures, and programs to ensure understanding and compliance.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve any provider-related issues or concerns.
  4. Participate in the recruitment and contracting process for new providers.
  5. Conduct regular site visits and meetings with providers to assess their needs and address any concerns.
  6. Communicate updates and changes in Cigna's policies and procedures to providers in a timely and effective manner.
  7. Negotiate contract terms and reimbursement rates with providers to ensure competitive and cost-effective agreements.
  8. Monitor and analyze provider performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
  9. Collaborate with providers to promote quality care and improve health outcomes for Cigna members.
  10. Serve as a resource to providers, answering any questions or concerns they may have and providing support as needed.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact provider relationships.
  12. Represent Cigna in a professional and positive manner when interacting with providers.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all provider interactions and activities.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve Cigna's provider network.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure provider satisfaction and retention.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Provider Relations Or Liaison Role In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Laws, Including Hipaa And Medicare/Medicaid.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Providers.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Reporting, With Experience Using Tools Such As Excel And Tableau.
