- Administer Prolastin infusion therapy to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Assess patient's medical history and any potential contraindications before initiating treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on the benefits and potential side effects of Prolastin therapy.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in infusion therapy and Prolastin treatment.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
- Act as a resource for other healthcare team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Prolastin therapy to patients.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Therapy, Preferably With Prolastin Or Other Specialty Biologic Medications
Certification In Infusion Nursing, Such As Crni Or Ins, Or Willingness To Obtain Certification Within 1 Year Of Employment
Strong Knowledge Of Prolastin Therapy And Adherence To Infusion Protocols
Excellent Communication And Patient Education Skills, With The Ability To Educate Patients And Caregivers On Prolastin Therapy And Management Of Potential Side Effects.
