Pharmacy Clinical Consultant Senior Advisor

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Clinical Consultant Senior Advisor at Cigna. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical consultation and analysis, as well as identify and recommend innovative strategies to drive quality improvement, cost management, and network performance.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Pharm.D. degree, a current and valid pharmacist license, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy management, health plan operations, and/or pharmacy operations in a managed care setting. In addition, strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are a must. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive clinical consultation and analysis to Cigna's members, focusing on quality improvement, cost management, and network performance.
2. Identify and recommend innovative strategies to drive quality improvement.
3. Maintain a current and valid pharmacist license.
4. Monitor and evaluate pharmacy operations in a managed care setting.
5. Use strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to develop and implement plans.
6. Stay abreast of relevant federal and state regulations.
7. Act as a resource to pharmacy staff on matters related to pharmacy management.
8. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to pharmacy practice.
9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
10. Assist in resolving issues related to pharmacy services.
