  1. Develop and evaluate pharmacy benefit plans in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  2. Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions on benefit design and cost management strategies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
  4. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform benefit plan design.
  5. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the pharmacy benefit management process.
  6. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance and support on pharmacy benefit plans.
  7. Review and negotiate contract terms with vendors and pharmacy partners.
  8. Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations and ensure compliance in benefit plan design.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation and records of benefit plan decisions and evaluations.
  10. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation in pharmacy benefit management.
  11. Train and mentor junior underwriters and support staff.
  12. Represent Cigna in industry conferences and events to promote the company's values and expertise in pharmacy benefits.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pharmacy Benefit Management, Underwriting, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Benefit Plans, Including Formulary Design, Drug Pricing, And Utilization Management.

  • Excellent Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Financial Reports.

  • Familiarity With Federal And State Regulations Related To Pharmacy Benefit Management, Including Medicare And Medicaid.
