Medical Degree: A Medical Director - Clinical Biochemical Genetics At Cigna Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Board Certification: Candidates Should Be Board Certified In Clinical Biochemical Genetics By The American Board Of Medical Genetics (Abmg) Or The American Board Of Pediatrics (Abp).
Experience: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Practice Is Required, With A Focus On Clinical Biochemical Genetics. Previous Experience As A Medical Director Or In A Leadership Role Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Managed Care: Strong Understanding Of Managed Care Principles And Experience Working Within A Managed Care Organization Is Essential.
