  1. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure the availability of a robust network for our customers.
  2. Negotiate contracts with providers to secure competitive rates and terms for healthcare services.
  3. Monitor and analyze provider performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations to support the development and execution of provider contracts.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to make strategic decisions regarding provider network contracting.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of healthcare services for our customers.
  7. Lead a team of provider network contracting specialists to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for direct reports.
  9. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  10. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with providers, advocating for the best interests of our customers and the company.
  11. Develop and manage a budget for provider network contracting activities.
  12. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  13. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the overall mission and goals of the company.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and act as a positive ambassador for Cigna in all interactions with providers and other external parties.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5-7 Years Experience In Healthcare Network Contracting And Provider Relations.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry Trends, Reimbursement Methodologies, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Providers.

  • Proven Track Record Of Achieving Cost Savings And Network Growth Targets Through Effective Contract Negotiations And Management.
