- Develop and implement a global benefits and wellbeing strategy that aligns with Cigna's overall mission and values.
- Lead and manage a team of benefits and wellness professionals to ensure the successful execution of programs and initiatives.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of current benefits offerings and make recommendations for improvements or changes to remain competitive in the market.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR, finance, and legal, to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Identify and partner with external vendors to provide innovative and cost-effective benefits and wellness solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance and evolve Cigna's benefits and wellness programs.
- Communicate and educate employees on the importance of benefits and wellness and how to utilize available resources.
- Drive engagement and participation in benefits and wellness programs through effective communication and marketing strategies.
- Develop and manage the budget for global benefits and wellness programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee well-being and supports Cigna's mission and values.
Extensive Experience In Benefits And Wellbeing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Global Benefits And Wellbeing Programs. This Should Include Experience In Both Developed And Emerging Markets.
Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare And Insurance Industry: Cigna Is A Global Health Service Company, And The Head Of Global Benefits And Wellbeing Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Healthcare And Insurance Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry Trends, Regulatory Requirements, And Best Practices.
Global Mindset And Cross-Cultural Communication Skills: As The Head Of Global Benefits And Wellbeing, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Programs In Multiple Countries And Regions. Therefore, They Should Possess A Global Mindset And Have Excellent Cross-Cultural Communication Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: This Role Requires A Strategic Thinker Who Can Identify Emerging Trends And Issues In The Benefits And Wellbeing Space And Develop Creative Solutions To Address Them. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Navigate Complex Challenges.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Leader In The Organization, The Head Of Global Benefits And Wellbeing Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Developing High-Performing Teams. They Should Also Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Motivate, Guide, And Coach Team Members To Achieve Organizational Goals.
