External Communications/Media Relations Senior Advisor

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies to support Cigna's external communications and media relations objectives.
2. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Monitor the health care industry's media landscape to identify opportunities and ensure Cigna's visibility.
4. Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and other internal and external communications materials.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts to increase Cigna's visibility through earned media coverage.
6. Track media coverage and compile monthly reports on Cigna's media coverage.
7. Assist with internal and external communications initiatives, such as corporate events, media tours, and speaking engagements.
8. Analyze media coverage and develop recommendations for improving Cigna's external communications and media relations efforts.
9. Manage crisis communications and provide counsel to executives on media inquiries.
10. Develop and implement social media programs to support Cigna's external communications and media relations initiatives.
