
Executive Medical Director, In-Home Primary Care Clinical Operations

- Develop and implement strategies to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered by the In-Home Primary Care Clinical Operations team.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the In-Home Primary Care program, including managing a team of healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure alignment and integration of services for members.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in the delivery of care and patient outcomes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Lead and support the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives to enhance the member experience and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to the In-Home Primary Care team, including coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices to inform decision-making and innovation within the program.
- Act as a liaison between the In-Home Primary Care team and other departments within Cigna to promote collaboration and communication.
- Represent Cigna and the In-Home Primary Care program at conferences, meetings, and other events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Develop and manage the budget for the In-Home Primary Care Clinical Operations team.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of members and staff by implementing and adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Uphold the values and mission of Cigna, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence in all aspects of the job.
Medical Degree And Active Medical License: The Executive Medical Director Should Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree And Have A Current, Unrestricted Medical License In The State(S) Where They Will Be Practicing.
Extensive Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In A Primary Care Setting. This Should Include Experience Managing Complex And Chronic Medical Conditions In Older Adults.
Leadership And Management Skills: The Executive Medical Director Should Have Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing Clinical Teams. They Should Also Have Experience In Creating And Implementing Clinical Policies And Procedures.
Experience In Healthcare Operations: The Successful Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Healthcare Operations, Including Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Quality Improvement Initiatives, And Healthcare Technology.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Leader In The Organization, The Executive Medical Director Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
