Job Description

Analyst will participate in the planning, building and testing needed with Epic system updates. This includes working on break-fixes, special updates, optimizations, software release notes & any other system required enhancement. Lead medium to large complexity Epic build projects. Participate in application on-call rotating coverage as required. Coordinate application support with other information technology teams. Implement changes using documented standard operating procedures. Research issues and use independent analysis and judgment to produce solutions. Participate in and facilitate cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records. Serve as the application expert for the scope and integration of third party vendors within Epic and impact across other applications.

Job Qualifications
  • Two to five years of progressively responsible Epic application work needed

  • Experience with 2 or more major Epic upgrades or implementations highly preferred

  • Knowledge of Epic software as well as other information systems, clinical software, and computer applications used in a health care setting

  • Understanding of Epic build change management process (CAB)
