At Cigna, we believe in providing quality care and service to our customers. We’re looking for an experienced Economics Advisor - Evernorth Accountable Care to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic economic advice to support the development of Cigna’s Evernorth accountable care products and services. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in economics as well as a comprehensive understanding of healthcare finance and reimbursement. They will have an ability to identify and analyze economic trends and provide strategic advice to support the development of a comprehensive accountable care product portfolio. Additionally, this individual should be an effective communicator, both written and verbally, and possess a strong customer service orientation.We’re looking for someone with: • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Health Administration, or a related field• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare economics or finance role• Experience in developing and analyzing economic models• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Superior written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency in MS Office and statistical softwareIf you have a passion for economics and healthcare, and are looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic economic advice to support the development and implementation of Cigna’s Evernorth accountable care products and services.
  2. Identify and analyze economic trends and provide strategic advice to support the development of a comprehensive accountable care product portfolio.
  3. Develop and analyze economic models.
  4. Provide superior customer service.
  5. Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  6. Utilize MS Office and statistical software.
  7. Stay up-to-date on economic and healthcare trends.
  8. Collaborate closely with other departments in the organization.
