  1. Develop and implement strategies to prevent data loss, including identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and implementing proactive measures.
  2. Ensure compliance with data security policies and regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and other industry-specific requirements.
  3. Lead a team of data security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team is equipped to handle data security incidents.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in data security protocols and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in data security practices.
  6. Stay updated on the latest data security threats and trends, and make recommendations for enhancements to the organization's data security program.
  7. Oversee the implementation of data security tools and technologies, and ensure they are effectively integrated into the organization's infrastructure.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the organization is utilizing the best resources for data security.
  9. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to provide updates on data security initiatives and address any potential concerns.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data security measures and make necessary adjustments to improve protection of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Loss Prevention (Dlp) Strategy Development And Implementation, Preferably In A Large Corporate Environment.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Dlp Analysts And Engineers.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements Related To Data Protection, Such As Hipaa And Gdpr.

  • Strong Technical Background In Network Security, Data Encryption, Data Classification, And Other Dlp Technologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Management To Drive Dlp Initiatives Forward.
