Job Description

Reviews implementation materials to create documents, policies, certificates, and/or riders. May prepare summaries of coverage. May require legal interpretation or translation of information. Reviews and analyzes implementation materials to create various documents for new and existing business. Reviews and analyzes benefits to ensure they are in compliance with legislation. Researches, coordinates and responds to questions from internal partners and/or external clients. Distributes policy documents to Account Manager and other internal partners as requested. Sends documents to print. Maintains and updates document control logs. Assists with training of Contract Associates and acts as mentor. Supports CIGNA product(s); various size accounts and greater case load. Identifies process improvement opportunities for own cases.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior contracts experience preferred.

  • Prior experience with insurance products preferred.

  • Basic understanding of matrix partner functions and how they interact

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.
