- Develop and maintain clinical policies for Cigna to ensure members receive high-quality and evidence-based healthcare services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data to inform clinical policy decisions.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on healthcare industry trends and best practices to inform policy development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing clinical policies and make recommendations for updates or changes.
- Work closely with medical directors, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure policies align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate policy changes and updates to relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to share insights and recommendations on clinical policy matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in policy development and implementation.
- Stay informed on changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance in policy development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical policy matters, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Policy Analyst Role, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.
Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Policy And Regulatory Landscape, Specifically Related To Clinical Guidelines And Best Practices.
Demonstrated Experience In Data Analysis And Interpretation, With Proficiency In Relevant Software And Tools.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
