- Develop and implement effective category management strategies to optimize supplier relationships and drive cost savings.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement strategies that align with company goals.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance to identify areas for improvement and address any issues that may arise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all procurement-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and best practices.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and contract renewals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay informed of industry developments and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact procurement strategies.
- Effectively communicate and present procurement strategies, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs through process improvement and vendor optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Mentor and train junior team members on category management and strategic sourcing best practices and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Category Management And Strategic Sourcing, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry
Strong Knowledge Of Procurement Processes, Contract Negotiation, And Supplier Management
Excellent Analytical Skills And Ability To Use Data To Drive Decision Making
