Job Description

At Cigna, we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Business Analytics Lead Analyst to join our team and help our organization make data-driven decisions. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data sets to identify trends and insights. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analytics role and a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business. We are looking for a professional who can bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm to our team and help us create meaningful solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain data-driven solutions to support Cigna’s business objectives.
  2. Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights in complex data sets.
  3. Utilize statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to uncover patterns and correlations in data.
  4. Lead the development of reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate results.
  5. Develop and maintain an understanding of Cigna’s business and its data.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine data needs and develop plans to address those needs.
  7. Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in business analytics.
  8. Manage and mentor junior members of the team.
  9. Work closely with other business units to develop analytics-based solutions.
  10. Present findings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
