- Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for the entire organization.
- Ensure the protection of the company's critical assets and data through the implementation and management of information security programs.
- Serve as a dynamic and strategic leader, with a strong passion for cybersecurity and risk management.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.
- Lead the global Business Information Security Office, providing direction and guidance to the team.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in the cybersecurity landscape and make proactive recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to information security.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify any potential weaknesses in the company's security measures.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to ensure understanding and support for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the company's networks, systems, and data.
- Manage and monitor incident response plans and participate in incident response efforts as needed.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all security measures comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the company's security posture through regular testing and assessment.
Experience In Information Security Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Information Security Programs And Initiatives, Preferably In A Large Organization.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Information Security Frameworks And Regulations: The Biso Director Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Regulatory Requirements Such As Hipaa And Gdpr.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Risk Management Expertise: The Biso Director Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Be Able To Identify, Assess, And Mitigate Potential Risks To The Organization's Information Assets.
