Job Description

Are you a dynamic, strategic leader with a passion for cybersecurity and risk management? Do you have a strong track record of successfully implementing and managing information security programs? Cigna is seeking a talented and experienced BISO Director to join our team and lead our global Business Information Security Office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of our company's critical assets and data. If you have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, we want to hear from you!

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for the entire organization.
  2. Ensure the protection of the company's critical assets and data through the implementation and management of information security programs.
  3. Serve as a dynamic and strategic leader, with a strong passion for cybersecurity and risk management.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.
  5. Lead the global Business Information Security Office, providing direction and guidance to the team.
  6. Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in the cybersecurity landscape and make proactive recommendations for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  8. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to information security.
  9. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify any potential weaknesses in the company's security measures.
  10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to ensure understanding and support for cybersecurity initiatives.
  11. Oversee the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the company's networks, systems, and data.
  12. Manage and monitor incident response plans and participate in incident response efforts as needed.
  13. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  14. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all security measures comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the company's security posture through regular testing and assessment.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Information Security Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Information Security Programs And Initiatives, Preferably In A Large Organization.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Information Security Frameworks And Regulations: The Biso Director Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Regulatory Requirements Such As Hipaa And Gdpr.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Risk Management Expertise: The Biso Director Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Be Able To Identify, Assess, And Mitigate Potential Risks To The Organization's Information Assets.

  • Continuous Learning And Adaptability: Given The Rapidly Evolving Nature Of Cybersecurity Threats, The Biso Director Should Be Committed To Continuous Learning And Be Able To Adapt To New Technologies And Strategies To Ensure The Security Of Cigna's Information Assets.
