Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Behavioral Health UX Discovery Lead. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and enhance our customers' experience through your expertise in user experience research and design. As a UX Discovery Lead, you will play a crucial role in understanding the needs and behaviors of our behavioral health customers, and translating those insights into impactful solutions. To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of human-centered design principles, strong analytical skills, and experience in the behavioral health industry.   1. Conduct user experience research to understand the needs and behaviors of our behavioral health customers.
  2. Use human-centered design principles to develop user-friendly and impactful solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key insights and requirements for improving the customer experience.
  4. Lead the discovery phase of UX projects, including conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
  5. Analyze data and research findings to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
  7. Work closely with product managers and designers to ensure that customer needs are incorporated into the product roadmap.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience research and design.
  9. Communicate research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  10. Advocate for the customer and their needs throughout the design and development process.
  11. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure a consistent and cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on behavioral health and contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the company.
  13. Mentor and coach other team members on UX research and design best practices.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of our behavioral health products and services.
  15. Embody and promote Cigna's mission, values, and culture of improving the health and well-being of our customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Ux Research And Design, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Behavioral Health And Its Impact On User Behavior And Decision-Making

  • Experience Leading Ux Discovery Projects And Managing A Team Of Ux Researchers And Designers

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Findings And Recommendations To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
