  1. Develop and execute strategies to optimize Cigna's provider contract network, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services to our members.
  2. Negotiate and manage contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring competitive rates and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improving provider network performance and cost savings.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and legal teams, to develop and implement effective provider network strategies.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with our network of providers, fostering partnerships and promoting Cigna's brand.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to proactively adjust provider network strategies.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of network management professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for provider network management, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  9. Utilize data and metrics to evaluate and report on the performance of the provider network, making recommendations for improvement when necessary.
  10. Represent Cigna in external meetings and negotiations with providers, promoting our company's values and mission.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall provider network management process.
  12. Ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements related to provider network management.
  13. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to provider network management.
  14. Stay updated on industry best practices and innovative approaches to provider network management and implement them into our processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Network Management, Provider Contracting, Or Healthcare Operations.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations, Reimbursement Methodologies, And Contract Negotiation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Providers.

  • Experience In Managing A Team And Leading Projects With Proven Success In Driving Results And Meeting Financial Goals.
