  1. Analyze and set prices for Medicare products to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  2. Utilize actuarial science and expertise to accurately assess risk and determine appropriate pricing.
  3. Monitor and evaluate market trends and competitor pricing strategies to inform pricing decisions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business goals.
  5. Lead and manage a team of actuarial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely pricing recommendations.
  6. Communicate pricing recommendations and strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including underwriting, finance, and product teams.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes in Medicare programs and regulations to ensure compliance in pricing strategies.
  9. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy in pricing.
  10. Represent Cigna in industry conferences and events to promote the company's expertise in Medicare pricing.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Actuarial Roles, With At Least 3 Years Focused On Medicare Pricing.

  • Asa (Associate Of The Society Of Actuaries) Or Fsa (Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries) Designation.

  • Experience Leading And Managing A Team Of Actuaries, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Insurance Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medicare Regulations And Reimbursement Methodologies, As Well As Experience With Medicare Advantage And Part D Products.
