Underwriter
Analyze portfolio real estate and non-real estate transactions to include: formulating credit analysis of financial documentation, due diligence assessment/review of file documentation, evaluating impact of new debt on current cash flow, cash flow modeling, asset and liquidity assessment, credit judgment and litigation search (i.e. business, etc.). Devise cash flow analysis for compounded, multiplex conglomerate of commercial business tax returns with the health care, rental real estate, etc. business including assessment of capital gains/losses. Works closely with management to assist in supporting special project initiatives and conducts system testing as needed. Resource for line of business on various file related items including consulting on standard loan structuring, addressing general policy/guideline questions, and managing timeframes. Stay abreast of market conditions and other changes that impact the lines of businesses by attending industry-related events, seminars, and other training.
10-years’ manual underwriting adjudication experience with Portfolio Lending Products.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
Working knowledge of related industry tools, systems, and underwriting requirements.
Experience successfully working in a deadline driven environment and making decisions in a time sensitive manner.
