Job Description

Welcome to Chubb, one of the world's leading insurance companies. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVP, Claims Manager Personal Lines to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of personal lines claims, ensuring efficient and effective resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service.   1. Oversee and manage all aspects of personal lines claims, including but not limited to property, casualty, and liability claims.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims according to company policies and procedures.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to streamline the claims process and improve overall efficiency.
  4. Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  5. Lead and coach a team of claims adjusters to ensure high quality and consistent claims handling.
  6. Maintain a high level of customer service by effectively communicating with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to identify and mitigate potential claim risks.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to personal lines claims and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, such as attorneys and appraisers, to assist with claims resolution.
  10. Prepare and present reports on claims data, performance metrics, and key initiatives to senior management.
  11. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  12. Assist with budget planning and management for the claims department.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the claims team.
  14. Handle escalated or complex claims as needed.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve the overall claims process and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Personal Lines Claims Management, With At Least 5 Years In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Coverage, Including Personal Lines Products Such As Auto, Home, And Personal Liability.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing A Team Of Claims Professionals, With A Focus On Delivering Exceptional Customer Service And Achieving Key Performance Indicators.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Other Departments And Build Strong Relationships With Clients And Vendors.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Business, Finance, Or Risk Management. Professional Insurance Designations, Such As Cpcu Or Aic, Are Preferred.
