  1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients.
  2. Lead and supervise a team of physicians.
  3. Mentor and guide other physicians in delivering high quality care.
  4. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  6. Stay updated on latest medical advancements and incorporate them into daily practice.

  9. Assist in recruiting and hiring new physicians.
  10. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to physicians.

  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided by the team.
  16. Handle any emergencies or critical situations that may arise.
  17. Act as a liaison between the team and hospital administration.
  18. Represent the hospital at conferences and other professional events.
  19. Maintain a positive and professional image of the hospital.
  20. Uphold the hospital's mission and values in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Supervisory Physician At Choc Children's Hospital Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Their Respective Specialty By The American Board Of Medical Specialties (Abms) Or American Osteopathic Association (Aoa).

  • Minimum 5 Years Of Clinical Experience: The Candidate Must Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Hospital Or Healthcare Organization.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: Effective Supervision And Management Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Physicians, Residents, And Medical Students.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of A Supervisory Physician Requires Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals, Staff, And Patients' Families.
