- Provide compassionate and dedicated nursing care to pediatric patients in a multispecialty unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on current best practices in pediatric nursing.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, and advocate for their needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate and facilitate patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the unit.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the hospital's mission and values in all interactions.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of California.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In A Multispecialty Unit.
Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).
Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced, Multidisciplinary Team Environment.
