  1. Conduct microbiology testing and analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the integrity of test results.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
  4. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  5. Communicate test results to healthcare providers in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Document and maintain accurate records of all test results and procedures.
  7. Collaborate with other laboratory staff to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  8. Keep up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of microbiology.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  11. Assist with training and mentoring of new laboratory staff.
  12. Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities.
  13. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Microbiology Or Related Field

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Procedures

  • Familiarity With Common Microbiology Techniques, Including Microscopy, Culture, And Identification Of Microorganisms

  • Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Hospital

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Document And Analyze Data
