The Manager of HIM Operations & Projects is responsible for managing Health Information operations and implementation of organization wide projects; maintains quality standards, meet turnaround expectations, and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory standards (i.e.: The Joint Commission, and state and federal laws). Provides overall leadership, coordination, ,management and direction for processes and system improvement activities within the Health Information Management department. Presents results of HIM improvement efforts and ongoing performance measure to HIM Committee/senior management. Collaborates with the Director of HIM to prioritize and plan both short- and long-tern projects, ensuring they are effectively executed using Children's standards tools and methodology.
