Health Sciences Administration Manager

The Health Sciences Administration (HSA) Manager will provide administrative leadership, expertise, and operational direction for all research activities in the CHOC Children’s Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine (ED) as they pertain to research needs, proposal development, implementation, infrastructure, financial management and growth. The HSA Manager will supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of clinical research coordinators and other ED research personnel. In coordination with CHOC Children’s Research Institute leadership and the Medical Director of Emergency Medicine, the HSA Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and expanding CHOC ED research programs, extramural funding and publications in accordance with CHOC Children’s mission and the research goals and objectives. The HSA Manager will model excellence in the development, delivery, management, and oversight of research activities.
