
Applied Behavior Analyst
The Applied Behavior Analyst (BCBA) applies knowledge of behavioral methods to help patients living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorders and works with patients with other developmental disabilities. Works to alter a person’s behavior and employ a systematic approach to help those they serve to develop better social and life skills; attempts to correct communication, academic, social and behavioral skills depending on the patient's needs and issues. Responsible for updating and presenting data weekly. The BCBA will also supervise Registered Behavior Technicians conducting therapy. Utilizes independent judgment, expertise, and discretion to develop and implement treatment plans
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in patient’s home and/or community.
Supervisory experience of behavior technicians and ABA programming.
Minimum three years of experience working with children with development disabilities including individuals with Autism.
Master’s degree in psychology, education, social work or related field.
