1. Lead and manage a team of employees during a designated shift, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately.
2. Set a positive and professional example for team members, demonstrating excellent customer service and food preparation skills.
3. Train and develop new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are properly equipped to perform their roles.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for daily operations.
5. Collaborate with the management team to create and implement strategies for improving overall restaurant performance.
6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
8. Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring all team members are in compliance.
9. Assist in the scheduling of team members, taking into consideration business needs and employee availability.
10. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures, suggesting and implementing ideas for efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Collaborate with other Shift Leaders and the management team to ensure a smooth transition between shifts and effective communication at all times.
12. Take initiative in identifying and resolving any issues or problems that may arise during a shift.
13. Uphold the company's values and mission statement, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management team.
