To be successful in this position, you must have a degree in culinary arts or a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in menu development and recipe creation.   1. Conduct extensive research on current culinary trends and ingredients to develop new and innovative menu items for Chipotle Mexican Grill.
  2. Utilize your culinary expertise and creativity to develop new and unique flavor profiles that align with Chipotle's commitment to fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to brainstorm and test new menu items, taking into consideration customer feedback and dietary restrictions.
  4. Lead the recipe development process, ensuring that all new menu items are feasible and cost-effective for implementation in Chipotle's restaurants.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all recipe development and modifications, as well as ingredient sourcing and cost analysis.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure Chipotle's menu remains competitive and relevant.
  7. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source the best quality ingredients for menu items, while also negotiating pricing and maintaining relationships.
  8. Train and educate other chefs and team members on new menu items, ensuring consistency and adherence to Chipotle's standards.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote and highlight new menu items to customers.
  10. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all menu items.
