- Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify potential menu opportunities and gaps.
- Manage and maintain the test kitchen, ensuring it is equipped with necessary tools and ingredients for recipe development and testing.
- Source and evaluate new ingredients and suppliers to ensure quality and sustainability.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of recipes and procedures for all menu items.
- Stay up-to-date on food safety regulations and ensure all menu items meet food safety standards.
- Train and mentor culinary team members on new recipes and techniques.
- Participate in menu ideation sessions and present new menu items to leadership for consideration.
