  2. Stay up-to-date on food trends and incorporate them into menu development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and supply chain, to ensure new menu items are feasible and align with business goals.
  4. Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers to inform menu development.
  5. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients for new menu items.
  6. Maintain a deep understanding of Mexican cuisine and incorporate traditional and modern techniques into menu development.
  7. Plan and execute menu tastings and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  8. Train and educate team members on new menu items and techniques.
  9. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to continuously improve and refine menu offerings.
  10. Monitor food costs and develop menu items that are both innovative and financially viable.
  11. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  12. Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to food and menu development.
  13. Represent Chipotle at industry events and conferences to showcase our culinary innovation.
  14. Mentor and guide junior team members in menu development and culinary techniques.
  15. Contribute to the development of long-term menu strategies and goals to drive business growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Culinary Degree: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Culinary Arts Or A Related Field Is Required For A Research And Development Chef Position At Chipotle Mexican Grill. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Cooking Techniques And Knowledge Of Flavor Profiles.

  • Experience In Menu Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Menu Development, Preferably In A Fast-Casual Restaurant Setting. This Includes Creating New Recipes, Testing And Refining Dishes, And Developing Seasonal Menus.
