  1. Develop and test new menu items that align with the overall brand and taste preferences of Chipotle Mexican Grill.
  2. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to constantly push the boundaries of flavor and quality.
  3. Utilize culinary techniques and ingredients to create unique and innovative dishes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chefs, marketing, and sourcing to bring new menu items to fruition.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand consumer preferences and incorporate them into menu development.
  6. Ensure that all new and existing menu items meet quality and safety standards.
  7. Assist in training and coaching restaurant teams on new menu items and cooking techniques.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve existing menu items to maintain high standards and meet customer expectations.
  9. Manage and maintain recipe databases, including ingredient sourcing and costing.
  10. Participate in food tastings and provide valuable feedback to improve and refine menu items.
  11. Maintain a strong knowledge of culinary trends and techniques, and actively seek out new ingredients and flavors to incorporate into menu development.
  12. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients for menu items.
  13. Monitor and manage food costs to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  14. Stay organized and manage multiple projects at once, ensuring timely completion of menu development.
  15. Represent Chipotle Mexican Grill in a professional and positive manner at all times.
