- Develop and implement new and innovative menu items for Chipotle Mexican Grill.
- Conduct research on food trends and incorporate them into menu development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new menu items.
- Create and maintain detailed recipes for new menu items.
- Conduct taste tests and gather feedback from customers and team members.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing menu items to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform menu development.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients for menu items.
- Train and educate team members on new menu items and their ingredients.
- Ensure all menu items adhere to food safety and health standards.
- Participate in menu planning and ideation sessions with the culinary team.
- Help develop and maintain a strong culinary culture within the organization.
- Represent the company at food events and shows to promote new menu items.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional materials for new menu items.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve and innovate the culinary offerings at Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Culinary Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Professional Kitchen Or Culinary Environment, Preferably With A Focus On Mexican Cuisine.
Creativity And Innovation: A Strong Track Record Of Developing Creative And Innovative Dishes And Menus, With A Deep Understanding Of Flavor Profiles And Ingredient Combinations.
Culinary Education: A Degree Or Certification In Culinary Arts, Food Science, Or A Related Field. Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations Is Also Required.
Project Management Skills: Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines, With Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills. Experience In Menu Development And Product Launches Is A Plus.
