- Collaborate with team of chefs and food experts to develop and test new menu items that align with Chipotle's brand and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu development.
- Research and source high-quality ingredients to use in new menu items.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of ingredients.
- Conduct taste tests and gather feedback from customers to inform menu development.
- Develop and maintain recipe databases and guidelines for all menu items.
- Monitor food costs and make recommendations for cost-effective menu options.
- Assist in training and educating kitchen staff on new menu items and preparation methods.
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for new menu items.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing menu items to meet customer demands and industry trends.
- Attend food shows and events to stay updated on new products and techniques.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Extensive Culinary Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cooking Techniques, Flavor Profiles, And Ingredient Combinations. They Should Also Have Experience Working In A Professional Kitchen, Ideally In A High-Volume Restaurant Setting.
Passion For Food And Innovation: As A Culinary Innovation Specialist, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Passion For Food And A Desire To Push Boundaries And Create New And Exciting Dishes. They Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Current Food Trends And Have A Creative Mindset.
Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Collaboration With Various Teams, Including Marketing, Operations, And Supply Chain. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Their Ideas And Work With Others To Bring Them To Life.
Project Management Skills: The Culinary Innovation Specialist Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, From Concept To Execution. They Should Have Strong Project Management Skills To Ensure Projects Are Completed On Time And Within Budget.
