
Diabetes Nurse Educator
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and patient-focused Diabetes Nurse Educator to join the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The successful candidate will serve as an integral member of the diabetes team, providing comprehensive care to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and be able to provide education and ongoing support to patients and families.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a higher degree in Nursing; at least five years of experience in diabetes nursing or pediatric nursing; certification in diabetes education; a valid Wisconsin nursing license; and experience working with children and families. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. A commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to think critically and problem solve is essential.
