Athletic Trainer - Outreach

At Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, we are looking for an athletic trainer with a passion for bringing healthcare to children in their own environment. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Athletic Trainer to join our Outreach team. This role involves providing sports medicine services in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, youth organizations, and other non-traditional venues. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as a desire to provide quality care to children and families.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and be certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). They should also have a minimum of two years' experience in an outreach setting, along with knowledge of the current laws, regulations, and standards related to athletic training. In addition, they should be comfortable working with children of all ages, have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with a team. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a positive, professional attitude while providing quality healthcare to our patients.
