
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a passionate and committed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to provide care for our pediatric patients in the Urgent Care department. This position requires a candidate with advanced clinical skills and superior patient care experience, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. If you possess the knowledge, skills, and qualifications necessary to provide quality care to children in an urgent care setting, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Required Qualifications:• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree• A valid and unrestricted U.S. state license as a Nurse Practitioner• Board certification in a pediatric specialty by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)• Minimum of two years of pediatric experience in a clinical setting• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to make sound clinical decisions• Commitment to advocacy for pediatric patients and their families
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.
- Adhere to all standards and policies set by CHOP.
- Educate patients and families on pediatric health issues and treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Keep up-to-date on advances in pediatric care and treatment.
- Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to make sound clinical decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Advocate for pediatric patients and their families.
- Monitor patient progress and manage follow-up visits.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times.

Current Licensure As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Pennsylvania
