- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, in the Emergency Medicine department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other medical departments and administrative staff, to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback, coaching, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Emergency Medicine department.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members.
- Manage and allocate resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies, to meet the needs of the department.
- Monitor and maintain patient satisfaction levels, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients and their families to ensure their needs are being met and that they are satisfied with the care received.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in pediatric emergency medicine and provide recommendations for improvement based on best practices.
- Represent the Emergency Medicine department in meetings and committees, advocating for the needs and goals of the department.
- Handle any conflicts or difficult situations that may arise within the team or with patients and their families.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, serving as a role model for team members.

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role In An Emergency Medicine Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Current Certification As An Advanced Practice Provider (App) Or Registered Nurse (Rn) With A Specialization In Emergency Medicine.
Demonstrated Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Healthcare Professionals, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Support Staff.
Strong Knowledge Of Emergency Medicine Protocols And Procedures, As Well As Experience With Pediatric Emergency Care.
Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills, With A Focus On Patient-Centered Care And Collaboration With Other Departments And Disciplines.
