  1. Develop and maintain relationships with external funding agencies, including government entities, foundations, and corporations.
  2. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and partnerships to support the hospital's research and clinical initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with researchers, physicians, and other stakeholders to develop grant proposals and ensure compliance with funding agency requirements.
  4. Oversee the submission and management of grant applications, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all required materials.
  5. Monitor and track the progress of sponsored projects, including budget management, reporting, and compliance with grant requirements.
  6. Serve as a liaison between the hospital and funding agencies, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in grant regulations to ensure compliance and maximize funding opportunities.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized records of all sponsored projects, including budgets, progress reports, and correspondence.
  9. Coordinate with other departments and teams within the hospital to facilitate collaboration and support for sponsored projects.
  10. Conduct regular evaluations and analysis of sponsored projects to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future funding opportunities.
  11. Represent the hospital at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote our sponsored projects and build relationships with potential funders.
  12. Assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures related to sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  13. Provide guidance and support to researchers and other staff members on grant writing, budgeting, and compliance best practices.
  14. Collaborate with the hospital's development team to identify potential donors and assist with fundraising efforts for sponsored projects.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions and communications related to sponsored projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Sponsored Project Management: A Strong Understanding Of Grant And Contract Management Processes, Including Budget Development, Negotiation, And Compliance With Funding Agency Guidelines.

  • Experience With Grant Writing: Ability To Write Persuasive And Well-Crafted Grant Proposals, Including The Ability To Develop Project Plans And Budgets That Align With The Hospital's Mission And Strategic Goals.

  • Familiarity With Funding Sources: Understanding Of The Various Types Of Funding Sources Available For Pediatric Research, Including Federal Agencies, Private Foundations, And Industry Sponsors.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Principal Investigators, Funding Agencies, And Internal Hospital Departments. Must Also Have Experience Working Collaboratively With Multidisciplinary Teams.
