- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with dysphagia in an outpatient setting.

Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Speech-Language Pathologist Must Possess A Master's Degree In Order To Practice In The Field. This Education Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Assess And Treat Communication And Swallowing Disorders.
Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha): Asha Certification Is A Requirement For Most Speech-Language Pathologist Positions. This Certification Ensures That The Individual Has Met Rigorous Standards And Has The Necessary Competence To Provide Quality Care To Patients.
State Licensure: In Addition To Asha Certification, A Speech-Language Pathologist Must Also Hold A State License To Practice In A Specific State. This Ensures That The Individual Has Met The Specific Requirements And Regulations For That State.
Experience In Outpatient Dysphagia: For A Position Specifically Focused On Outpatient Dysphagia, It Is Important For The Speech-Language Pathologist To Have Experience In This Area.
