
Specialist - Patient Financial Services Collections
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a hardworking and experienced Specialist - Patient Financial Services Collections to join our Financial Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate collection of outstanding accounts receivable. We are looking for a motivated individual who is able to work independently and effectively manage a high-volume workload. The successful candidate for this position must possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to problem solve, and a strong attention to detail. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of collections experience in a healthcare setting and experience with electronic medical record systems. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent customer service to our patients and their families. Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding accounts receivable.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations related to collections.
- Monitor accounts receivable for accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve any discrepancies or disputes as needed.
