Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Senior Manager - Strategic Planning to join our innovative and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to show off your strategic planning expertise and help us to achieve our goal of becoming the premier pediatric hospital and research center in the world.To qualify for this role, you must have over five years of progressive experience in healthcare strategic planning and proven success in leading and implementing strategic initiatives. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's status as a premier pediatric hospital and research center.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the hospital's strategic objectives are met.
  3. Analyze and assess current and future trends in the healthcare industry to develop and implement innovative strategies.
  4. Develop and manage budgets for strategic initiatives and ensure that they are on track and within budget.
  5. Lead and manage a team of strategic planning staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  6. Create and present reports and presentations on strategic initiatives and their progress.
  7. Monitor progress and results of strategic initiatives and make course corrections as needed.
  8. Participate in meetings and conferences to ensure the hospital is informed of relevant industry trends and best practices.
  9. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the success of the hospital's overall strategic plan.
  10. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to staff to ensure they are meeting the hospital's strategic objectives.
