As a Senior Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our hospital by overseeing electrical systems and installations.   1. Oversee all electrical systems and installations at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues in a timely manner to ensure the safety and functionality of the hospital.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to identify and address any potential problems.
  4. Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to coordinate electrical work and minimize disruption to hospital operations.
  6. Train and mentor junior electricians on proper procedures and safety protocols.
  7. Keep detailed records of all electrical work and maintenance performed.

  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  13. Attend departmental meetings and provide input and suggestions for improvement.
  14. Act as a role model for safety, professionalism, and excellence in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, And Technical Drawings.

  • Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Electrician, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Hospital Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of National Electric Code (Nec) And Joint Commission Standards.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Staff, Patients, And Families In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
